Leave Heartprints

“The eye never forgets what the heart has seen “ Bantu Culture Proverb

Whatever we touch with our hands, we leave fingerprints.

As we touch walls, furniture, doorknobs, dishes, books. There’s no alternative; as we touch with our fingers we leave our unique identity.

When you go out today, try to leave heartprints.

Heartprints of compassion, of understanding and love.

Heartprints of kindness, genuine concern and acceptance.

May your heart touch a lonely neighbor, a troubled child, a parent at their patience end, or maybe an elderly person forgetting where they are.

Go out today to leave heartprints.

And if someone should say, “I felt your touch,” May they also sense the love that is deep within your heart.

Please send me comments with your experience if you try it.
